Hot Grants
- First-time central heating grants if you use old electric heaters. Fully funded boiler and all central heating and plumbing works. Subject to Gas availability at the property.
- Change your 15 year or old non-condensing boiler with a brand new rated boiler supplied and fitted along with loft insulation in full or top up and Wall insulation where necessary
Criteria to Qualify
Anyone in a household needs to be in receipt of the following benefits
- Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
- Working Tax Credit
- Child Tax Credits
- Universal Credit (UC)
- Housing Benefit (only for first-time central heating jobs)
- Pension Credit – guarantee or Savings Credit
- Child Benefit with certain income

Alterntive Criteria 1: If you don’t take any of those benefits, you can still get a grant under LA flex criteria as long as your household’s gross income is not more than £31,000 per year.
Alterntive Criteria 2: Identified by doctor or GP as low income and vulnerable, with an occupant whose health conditions may be impacted further by living in a cold home. These health conditions may be cardiovascular, respiratory, immunosuppressed, or limited mobility related.

- Replace old non condensing and back boiler with brand new AA rated boiler
- Air Source Heat Pumps – to Electric properties with no Gas available
- Cavity wall insulation
- Smart electric storage heaters
- Internal wall insulation
- External Wall insulation – Partly funded for F and G rating properties
- Loft insulation (full insulation or top-up to existing old insulation)
- Room in roof insulation for a loft that has been converted into a room
- Underfloor insulation
- Smart Thermostat mobile connected (We offer free with any boiler upgrade)
- Thermostat radiator vales aka TRV’s – (We offer free with any boiler upgrade if missing)
- Smart Thermostat radiator valves which you can control each radiator with your smartphone, often save a fair amount of heating costs.
